ABOUT THE REBEL LOUNGE:

The Rebel Lounge is a live music venue located in Phoenix, Arizona. Housed in what used to be the home of The Mason Jar, Stephen Chilton of Psyko Steve Presents took over the building in 2015 to turn it into The Rebel Lounge.

ABOUT THE BUILDING HISTORY:

Founded in 1979, The Mason Jar quickly established itself as one of the premier clubs in central Phoenix, hosting some of alternative rock’s best on their way to stardom: Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Jane’s Addiction, Green Day, Guns ‘N’ Roses, and Nirvana. In the early 2000s, the club was revamped and began booking diverse modern rock, indie, and metal bands, hosting The Black Keys, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, Avenged Sevenfold, and more.

The club’s musical heritage will continue to inspire the musical tone of the room, hosting tomorrow’s best musical acts before anyone else. Since opening in 2015, The Rebel Lounge has been awarded Best Punk Club,” “Best Rock Club,” “Best Marquee,” and “Best Rebooted Venue” by the Phoenix New Times in their annual Best Of Phoenix awards.

Over the years, The Rebel Lounge has hosted artists like The Heavy, Louis The Child, Declan McKenna, Subhumans, Soccer Mommy, Never Shout Never, Jimmy Eat World, Tobe Nwigwe, Fu Manchu, LANY, Max Bemis, The Maine, Scarlxrd, Summer Salt, Fishbone, Citizen, Polyphia, TV Girl, Xavier Omär, Beach Bunny, Still Woozy, The Rocket Summer, Mystery Skulls, Hunny, DIIV, Agnostic Front, Miniature Tigers, Boy Harsher, Shooter Jennings, Palaye Royale, The Sword, This Wild Life, Pinegrove, Chicano Batman, AJJ, Zella Day, Mitski, GBH, Pale Waves, The Lone Bellow, The Regrettes, Save Ferris, Tiny Meat Gang, Daughters, Khruangbin, Tiny Moving Parts, Authority Zero, Cavetown, mewithoutYou, The Casualties, Chon, SALES, Calabrese, Marc E Bassy, Copeland, COIN, Mad Caddies, Japanese Breakfast, Lydia, Chuck Regan, Mom Jeans, Coast Modern, IAMX, Tha Alkaholiks, Moose Blood, Marty Friedman, Hot Snakes, We The Kings, The Fall Of Troy, Snail Mail, Dustin Kensrue, Porches, Foxing, Remo Drive, Alex G, The Black Dahlia Murder, nothing, nowhere., Lucky Daye, Mac Sabbath, Sparta, Her’s, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Garden, No Vacation, Power Trip, Red Fang, Jeff Rosenstock, Beach Goons, Jess & Gabriel, Men I Trust, Kikagaku Moyo, Gus Dapperton, Mae, NateWantsToBattle, The Frights, and many many more.
