Dylan's musical journey has led him to many places, both figuratively and musically. Originally playing in his band, In Symmetry, he became a fixture on the vibrant Phoenix art/music scene. In 2010 Dylan relocated to Seattle and performed as a solo artist and in the band Moya. Now based out of Tempe, AZ, Dylan has been performing as a solo artist and touring throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest, as well as opening shows for numerous national acts including Neko Case, JD McPherson, Rhett Miller, Ben Sollee, Matt Pond PA, Horse Feathers, and many others.
The Sunpunchers are a female-fronted desert roots band from Phoenix, Arizona. Perched on the arm of an Americana cactus with roots in outlaw cabaret, alt-country and psychedelic folk, their first full album, Levity, combines vintage sound references with present day relevance. Inspired by a treasure trove of influences including John Prine, Nina Simone, Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Neko Case and Tom Waits, The Sunpunchers wed the old with the new. The band features vocalist and songwriter Betsy Ganz, drummer and producer Dominic Armstrong, bassist Lindsay Cates (Pick and Holler, Fatigo), vocalist and keyboardist Serena Fonze, and honorary band member and pedal steel afficionado Jon Rauhouse (Neko Case, Old 97s, Box Tops).
