AFTER THE CALM
AFTER THE CALM
After the Calm started from a living room jam session on Memorial Day of 2014. Friends Kody Rattler (Drums), David Nunez (Guitar), and Henry Cota (Bass) met up with instruments in hand. Jonathan Habermacher (Guitar) had joined the band shortly after the initial meeting, adding more sound to the equation. The search for a singer was a long, enduring journey that lead the group through multiple trial and errors. They had spent their time writing songs and cycling through singer auditions. With the luck of a Craigslist ad, the band had added Logan Miracle (Vocals) as the final piece to their puzzle.
Their first major show was on August 29th, 2015 at the Nile Theater in Mesa, AZ. The band went on to play local shows around the greater Phoenix area, building their fanbase along the way. On October 15th, 2016, After the Calm released their debut EP, “Ignis Fatuus,” hosting a nearly sold out show at local venue Joe’s Grotto. Their on-stage energy and crowd engagement lead them to opening for bigger acts such as I See Stars, I Prevail, and WATERPARKS. Aside from playing shows, the band worked on giving back to their community by raising money for AZ Humane Society through various fundraisers.
With an EP under their belt they continued to write new music. One song that became an instant fan favorite was Greenway. The music video for the single was released on March 17th, 2017. Many great shows and opportunities followed and their music has been played multiple times on local radio stations. The rest of that year was used to create new music with plans to release in 2018.
INTERFATE
Fates intertwine…

As fate would have it, four like minded friends united to form what became Interfate. Since then Interfate has evolved, bringing in new members each with different musical histories, leading to an intuitive take on the rock scene of today. Interfate is an ensemble influenced by the ragged yet melodic sounds of 90’s grunge along with the polish of early 2000’s Nü Metal. Their dynamic live performances have been honed on the Arizona circuit along with tours across the southwest. Interfate is privileged to have shared the stage with acts such as Nonpoint, Puddle of Mudd, Wayne Static, In This Moment, Taproot, Otep, Tantric, Fuel, Smile Empty Soul and The Ataris. Their EP “Shedding Skin”, engineered and produced by Jeremy Parker (Evanescence, Godsmack, Disturbed, Mudvayne) and Mike Oliver, was released December 2014. A single, "Tremble", was released January 2016.
