Watch LINKIN PARK Perform “In The End” Live At The Mason Jar 20 Years Ago Today

In 2000, Linkin Park – the internationally popular alternative rock group (or rap / rock at the time) – released their debut album Hybrid Theory. At the time, the band was based in LA and playing small clubs regionally – including in Phoenix, where their singer Chester Bennington was based.

That year the band played The Mason Jar, performing material from the breakthrough album that eventually went certified Diamond five years later (meaning 10,000,000 copies sold – one of only 92 albums that have gone Diamond today).

20 years later, Linkin Park is still an internationally successful group. In 2017 we were devastated by the loss of Chester Bennington, but we are grateful to have this unique historical connection to such an incredible band.

This video is from the band’s performance at The Mason Jar in 2000 – a recording of their hit “In The End” performed 20 years ago today. Enjoy.
